Declarations Supervisor                

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £25,000

Our client is looking for a new addition to their growing team. You will be responsible for supporting the Declarations Manager with the development, implementation and maintenance of the company’s Declarations framework, including supervisory responsibility of all direct reports and supervise the loading of all declarations declared to the office.

 

The successful candidate will support the flow of data within the business providing a competent and efficient service to our customers whilst ensuring that transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner. You will have previous experience of managing a team and be competent within Microsoft Excel.

 

Duties:

·         To supervise and carry out the loading of risk and/or claims declarations to the in house data systems

·         Proactively resolve or escalate any queries that arise from the loading of declarations

·         To ensure that all payments leaving the business are appropriately authorised

·         To ensure company service standards and procedures are adhered to

·         Provide training & guidance to your direct reports

·         To produce MI to evidence productivity

·         To ensure that all relevant controls are adhered to, overseeing accuracy and completeness of loaded data

·         To supervise the completion of pre load processes and controls, recording and escalating where appropriate any data anomalies, errors or omissions

·         To assess loading priorities and communicate

·         To assist with maintenance and production of procedure manuals

·         Good understanding of the FCA/PRA rules and guidelines

 

Skills and Experience:

·         Good knowledge of MS office, word and excel

·         Good communication skills

·         Good facilitation skills

·         Prepared to undertake a wide range of tasks

·         Demonstrate good attention to detail together with the ability to consider the bigger picture

·         Ability to support change within the department and react promptly to new business needs
