Credit Control / Sales Ledger Clerk
Hours: Mon – Fri 8:30 – 6:00
Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a Credit Control/Sales Ledger clerk to join their busy Accounts department.
Reporting to the Sales Ledger Supervisor, you will be responsible for liaising with Sales Ledger customers to manage outstanding accounts and chase in overdue payments.
· Opening new credit accounts
· Active payment collection via phone, email and letters
· Maintaining accurate Sales Ledger transaction records via daily journal and invoice postings
You will also be required to deal with customer queries as they arise on a daily basis and provide support to the Sales Ledger function.
Previous experience of working in a Credit Control and Sales Ledger position is essential
You will also have an effective working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as a keen eye for detail and a confident telephone manner.
